Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Routinly, provided at routinly.org and app.routinly.org (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Routinly converts screen recordings, uploaded videos, and linked media into AI-generated step-by-step documentation. Features vary by plan as described on ourpricing page. We may improve or modify the Service over time; material reductions in paid functionality will be communicated in advance.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the videos you upload and the documentation generated from them. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the content you submit — including third-party videos imported by URL — and that it does not contain unlawful material.
We do not use your content to train AI models for other customers.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to infringe intellectual property, upload malicious content, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, resell it without authorization, or circumvent plan limits. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Unused monthly video credits do not roll over. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
6. AI-generated output
Documentation is generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, particularly for safety-critical, legal, medical, or compliance purposes.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Routinly and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or software except the limited right to use the Service.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and your content is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which Routinly is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
