1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Routinly ("the Service"), operated by Routinly ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Routinly is an AI-powered documentation tool that converts screen recordings and video files into step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Service includes:

  • In-browser screen recording
  • Video file upload and processing
  • YouTube URL processing
  • AI-generated written instructions
  • Automated screenshot capture
  • Document export (PDF, Markdown, HTML)
  • Team workspaces and collaboration features

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1 Free Plan

The Free plan provides limited access to the Service at no cost. Free plan users are subject to usage limits (currently 3 videos per month) and exported documents may include a Routinly watermark.

4.2 Paid Plans

Paid plans (Solo and Team) are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4.4 Coupon Codes

Promotional coupon codes may be offered from time to time. Coupons are subject to their specific terms and conditions, may have expiration dates, and cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, record, or create using the Service, including videos, generated SOPs, and associated materials.

5.2 License to Routinly

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or process content that:

  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious software or harmful code
  • Contains explicit, abusive, or illegal material
  • Violates the privacy rights of others

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our permission
  • Exceed the usage limits of your subscription plan

7. AI-Generated Content

SOPs generated by the Service use artificial intelligence and may not be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use. Routinly does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated instructions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Routinly and protected by intellectual property laws. The Routinly name, logo, and owl mascot are our trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Routinly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable period (30 days)
  • Any outstanding payments become immediately due

You may also terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable EU jurisdiction.
